Painting Figures with Exciting Textures by Karen Knutson

In this workshop Karen will reduce your people drawing fears by showing you her shortcuts to making it really fun and easy! This workshop starts out with silhouettes of people and then, on the last two days, students learn how to abstract them even further. Along with design tips, this workshop will concentrate on how to get the many textures that only acrylic allows. Rubbing alcohol, different surface textures and many other tricks will be used to come up with about four layers needed to produce the special effects.
